Physiotherapist, Yoga Teacher, Yoga Therapist

Kristie is a physiotherapist, yoga teacher, and yoga therapist. She graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation in PT, and went to India to complete her yoga teacher training shortly after. The blend of physiotherapy and yoga has sparked her recent studies in Yoga Therapy. Kristie’s post graduate studies include courses on movement system impairments, pelvic pain and pelvic floor dysfunction, breath, and pain science. She has attended physiotherapy congresses and yoga workshops across Canada. Kristie loves taking a holistic approach to her clients’ wellness. She has a passion for integrating the aspects of yoga into her physiotherapy practice, and looks at injuries or illnesses in the context of an individual’s life. There is a connection between everything within us and around us, and Kristie loves to help you create awareness of the body-mind connection. She likes to take pleasure in the little things, like an afternoon nap, trying out a new recipe, a nice glass of wine, or a tasty treat from her garden.
