From a young age, Marie-Lynn has had a strong desire to help and care for those around her. Being very active herself, and aware that we need a strong body to thrive and get the best out of this life, she oriented her carrier towards physical therapy. She graduated in Quebec as a physical therapist assistant in 2007. After a few years of working in a physiotherapy clinic, she received a call from the mountains after a visit at a friend’s on the west coast. She moved to BC in 2010, where she had the opportunity to transition her practice to a different angle and explore massage therapy. With her desire to keep learning, over the last few years, she got certified from massage therapy college Ortho-santé, became a certified kinesio taping practitioner (KT1-KT2), certified SMFT (structural myofascial therapy) Level 1 at Baron Bodyworks and recently obtain her title as RMT in BC.
Marie-Lynn is passionate about sharing her knowledge to help people reach optimum health and understand the complexity and diversity it requires. Due to numerous injuries she has had throughout her life, she realizes the resilience that the human body is capable of and the delicate balance between our mind and our body, that is needed to thrive, as well as the deep connection we have with Mother Nature.
Leaving her Tiny house -living in Pemberton, Marie-Lynn is looking forward to being part of the Golden community and about meeting new people to share her passion with. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening/permaculture, mountain biking, hiking, and everything exciting that the great outdoors has to offer!
