custom orthotics
Orthoses are designed to control the biomechanics of the foot throughout all phases of gait. If there are imbalances in the supporting structures of your feet, it can result in excessive foot motion which, in turn, alters foot function. This can result in the rotation of the legs, which may affect your ankles, knees, hips and back.
If you are experiencing foot, shin, knee, hip or low back discomfort, the origin may be biomechanical in nature and an orthotic may be helpful.
A Pedorthist is trained in the assessment, design, manufacture, fit, and modification of custom foot orthotic devices (orthoses). Milan Hudec is our visiting Pedorthist. He is in the clinic once a month, and often books up fast! Call well in advance to book your appointment.
