Massage Therapy

Massage hands on back

Massage therapy and bodywork are an essential resource for health and wellbeing.

Our practitioners aim to help you manage tension and stress to avoid injury or illness.  They assess and treat musculoskeletal injuries, assist with pre and postnatal care, aid in athletic development, and educate to manage everyday well-being.

Our practitioners use a variety of techniques including deep tissue and relaxation massage, myofascial release and cupping, craniosacral therapy and hot stone massage.

Our clinic provides both Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) and Licensed Bodyworkers. Our RMTs accept clients through WorkSafe BC, ICBC, RCMP, as well as clients with extended health benefits. We do not require a doctors referral for treatment, however many clients with extended health insurance may require a referral from their family physician. Please advise us if you require an RMT.

Online booking made easy

We're more than happy to book your appointment in person or over the phone. But hands-down the best way for you to see all your appointment options is by booking online. If you've never booked online, and need help setting it up, we'd be happy to talk you through it.

Massage and Bodywork
RMT

Tessa became a BC RMT in November 2020. However, she began her massage therapy education at Maui School of Therapeutic Massage 9 years ago. There she focused on clinical massage therapy, including deep tissue, sports massage, and neuromuscular therapy, along with the traditional Hawaiian treatments of Lomi-Lomi and hot stone massage. She continued her training in Costa Rica at the Kootenay School of Rebalancing, and then, more recently completing a 2200 hour diploma of Massage Therapy at MH Vicars School of Massage Therapy.

Tessa spent many years working at backcountry ski lodges feeding her passion for powder skiing, however, these days you can find her at Kicking Horse Resort chasing her two little ones down the mountain. In the summer she enjoys biking, paddle boarding, gardening, and hanging out with her backyard chickens. Her goal is to promote a healthy lifestyle with lots of space for relaxation.

“My massage changes with every unique person I treat, but my intention is often the same: to support pain management, assist in soft tissue health, and inspire an awareness of the innate wellness that already exists in every body.”

Dee Brandes

Massage Therapist
RMT

Dee started a second career as a registered massage therapist after seeing the benefits that her friends and colleagues gained from massage therapy. She was inspired by the wide range of massage therapy techniques that can support an individual’s wellness and recovery.

Dee graduated with distinction in 2020 from the Alberta College of Massage Therapy (ACMT) and became a registrant of the British Columbia College of Massage Therapists in 2021. Since becoming an RMT, she worked at a clinic in Calgary and at ACMT assisting instructors with teaching and curriculum development. Dee uses her workplace and recreational experiences to connect with the client and to provide a relaxing, restorative treatment that will engage the muscles and joints for optimal recovery.

Golden became a second home for Dee and her family in 2010. Walking her dogs, hiking, biking (road and mountain), skiing (downhill and XC) and golfing are a few of the recreational activities that she enjoys. Being with her family and friends while active, playing board games or just visiting is a “great day”, except when they trounce her at frisbee golf!
